Days 1-2
Your adventure in Italy begins with a cycle ride round Lucca 's perfectly preserved medieval city walls, before we head into town to explore close-up. We'll also visit the incredible Leaning Tower of Pisa for that essential photo opportunity!
Day 3
Fascinating Florence awaits you for a day of art, history, shopping, gelato, or whatever you like – there is so much choice! After a busy day, in the evening we can take a trip to a local thermal spring to relax.
Days 4-5
The hilltop towns of central Tuscany are calling - Siena and San Gimignano are just two of the more famous towns that we will be exploring. Sampling some of the world-famous Chianti wines will be the perfect way to say goodbye to Tuscany!
Days 6-7
No trip to Italy would be complete without a visit to the awe-inspiring capital city, Rome. You can visit the Colosseum and retrace Caesar's steps through the ancient Roman Forum, soak up the splendour of the Vatican City and St. Peter's Cathedral, throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain, or simply kick back on the Spanish Steps and watch Rome go by...there is so much to see and do!
Days 8-11
Three days of variety and adventure in the Gulf of Naples area! We will visit the volcano Vesuvius and walk to the crater's edge, and also spend a day exploring the beautiful Amalfi Coast and the picturesque towns of Amalfi, Positano and Ravello.
The perfect day to round off your perfect trip will be our visit to Naples - the most colourful, passionate and vibrant city in Italy will not fail to make an impression on you! Naples is also the birthplace of the ultimate Italian icon, the pizza - and we won't miss the opportunity to sample some of the original and best pizza in the world!
